Here’s How To Create A Productive Morning Routine

FIND FREEDOM & FULFILLMENT (FREE DIGITAL COURSE)

If you don’t already have a solid morning routine, you need one—especially my parent friends looking to add some calm to your chaos.

What’s a morning routine, and why do you need one?

Generally, a morning routine is how you spend the first hour of your day. It’s often associated with extremely successful people, but its power isn’t limited to financial aspirations.

Most moms would be wildly satisfied ticking off at least one thing from OUR wish list, but the true benefit of a successful morning routine comes later in the day when you discover how much better you’re able to manage your feelings and emotions.

When we spend our days reacting to everyone else’s needs/wants, we find we have little time for our personal to-do list. If you let this imbalance go unchecked for too long, you can feel unproductive, unfulfilled, and resentful.

So let’s change things, shall we?

HOW TO CREATE A PRODUCTIVE MORNING ROUTINE FOR MOMS

1— MAKE A LIST

What do you do every day? For fun, include who you do it for. It might alarm you how little you see your own name pop up.

2— ANALYZE YOUR LIST
What do you want less or more of?

3— LABEL YOUR LIST
Personal, Health, Life Purpose/Passion, Other

4— PRIORITIZE YOUR LIST
Omit the "other" category and focus on the rest, putting the most important things first.

5— START THE NIGHT BEFORE
Set yourself up for morning successes by prepping the night before.

6— GIVE IT 3 WEEKS
At the end of each day, reflect on how it went and make adjustments.

When you spend the first hour of the day hyper-focused on your personal to-do list, the rest of the day is easier to manage, so you can climb into bed feeling more content and hopefully a little closer to your goals.
